Create a truly memorable experience on your special day by hosting your outdoor wedding at Foxwood House. Located in beautiful Pend Oreille County between Newport and Diamond Lake. Just a short 35 minute drive North of Spokane and only a five minute drive South of Newport. Foxwood House sits on 10 acres just off of highway 2. Enter the tree lined driveway through two brick pillars. Before you, you will see a 6200 square foot Victorian home entirely built by homeowners Roger and Jeanine Shawgo. Construction began in 1999.
In the back yard there sits a 1950’s Texaco Gas Station, a Saloon, a Victorian Cottage, a Gazebo and a 20×30 pergola. We also offer 5 acres of trees for your dream wedding in the woods or 5 acres of beautifully landscaped lawn for garden weddings. The choice is yours for your wedding ceremony location.
The Bride and her attendants will be ushered up the oak staircase to the turret room to prepare for the ceremony. The Groom and his men are escorted to their private changing room at the back of the house. We will direct your wedding guests to the wedding area to relax and visit in the ever expanding back yard while awaiting the festivities.
Foxwood House is a private home and only the bride’s wedding party is allowed inside. Foxwood House will do everything possible to make this a very special day for you. We will handle the set up and tear down of the tables and chairs.
Clean up will be done in a fashionable manor so as not to disturb the wedding party.

Our package price is $5,500.00. A $1,000.00 booking fee is required to secure your date. The remaining balance of $4,500 will be due 4 weeks prior to your wedding date. Our venue is available mid May thru September.
Wedding Package Includes:
- Full use of Foxwood House grounds for your wedding day
- Beginning time 9:00 am, ending time 11:00 pm 14 hours total
- Wedding rehearsal 2 hours. By appointment only
- Foxwood House can accommodate 300 people
- Tables and chairs for up to 200 people
- Turret room and bathroom for the bride
- A bedroom and bathroom for bride’s attendants
- Private Room for Groom and his groomsmen
