I’m Britta, the owner and creative force behind Jackson Manor and Britta’s Brides. I grew up in Edmonds, Washington, and my love for beautiful spaces and meaningful celebrations began early—first sparked during a childhood visit to the Palace of Versailles. That sense of wonder has stayed with me, evolving into a career where I now design weddings that feel intentional, elevated, and deeply personal.
After years of building my business from the ground up, I left my 9-to-5 to pursue this full-time—turning a long-held dream into reality. I’m soon to be celebrating my 10-year wedding anniversary with my husband, Joel, who leads our catering company, and together we’re raising our two daughters. We’re also a Disney-loving family at heart, which means I truly believe in the magic of a well-told love story—something I bring into every wedding I help create. The result is an experience that feels seamless, thoughtful, and unforgettable from beginning to end.

You feel transported into a European garden that is the definition of elegance and timeless classic.
Britta herself also saved the day multiple times when my dress bustle wouldn’t stay up then finally ripped out entirely – she sewed it up for me so I could keep dancing.
