Hi, I’m Shannon, the owner and lead photographer at Poppy Photography. My clients usually tell me how calm I am, and what a peaceful vibe I bring to their wedding day or portrait session.

I’m based in Poulsbo, Washington and love calling the PNW home.

I believe your wedding photos, family portraits, and branding photos should all reflect the true you and that’s what I aim to capture.

It’s okay if you don’t know how to pose, or what to do in the front of the camera. That’s what I’m here for!

I do all the “hard work” of location scouting, list making, organizing, so during your session or wedding day you can relax when it comes to photography.

I’m here to be your calm, professional photographer you can trust.

Your consultation is where I get to hear all about your wedding planning so far and you can ask me all your burning questions. If you’re local to Poulsbo or Kitsap County, we can meet for coffee. If not, we’ll meet over Zoom or by phone.

There’s no commitment or pressure to book, let’s just get to know each other.

STEP 2:
QUOTE
After our consultation I create your custom quote so you have exactly what you need for your wedding day. It’s easy to accept your quote online or we can go over everything together.
STEP 3:
BOOKED
When you’re ready to book your date, I’ll send over a contract and invoice for your retainer. Once those items are complete, you’re fully booked and your date is on my calendar.
STEP 4:
PLANNING + YOUR WEDDING DAY
I’m here for all your photography planning leading up to your wedding day. I can work with you or your wedding planner to nail down your photography timeline and create group photo lists. Send me your inspiration photos or we can even create a mood board together.

On your wedding day, I lead the way through your photos to help you feel calm and cared for. I want you to soak in every glorious moment of your day. You don’t have to worry about missing anything because I’m there capturing it all.

STEP 5:
YOUR PHOTOS
You’ll receive a collection of curated and professionally edited photos that tell the heartfelt story of your wedding day. They’ll all be available to view and download in high-resolution in a private online gallery that you can share with family and friends.

I can help you design heirloom albums, or create wall art like metal prints or canvasses that will help you re-live your wedding day for many years to come.
